Mud Run

Jesse's first 1k ever and JJ's first 5k since the toe incident....and it was in the mud!

There was not a shortage of mud.

Or water,
or obstacles.....

I wasn't able to run with Elijah but he wasn't about to stay clean....this was a mud run.
I was attempting to take a pre-race photo....Elijah wanted to be in it.

JJ's race was first....I couldn't run all over to get awesome pictures so the boys helped me pick this view.....

The race was about to begin...

JJ's race was done so he started to prep Jesse.


While we were waiting for Jesse's race we were able to catch a 10k runner finish up on one of the obstacles. She just happens to be the mom of one of my friends. First you had to go over the wall...

Jump in the mud pit and then you had to go over a log and then under the next log, etc.

Looks like muddy fun to me!
