St. Patrick's Day

On the eve of St. Patrick's Day my boys each decided to make a leprechaun trap. You know, to catch a leprechaun. The shoe box is Jesse's trap which had a note next to it that said "leve gold"
Elijah's trap was made out of popsicle sticks, plastic cups, and napkins. It even had a back up plan..just in case the leprachaun missed the first trap.
Well, they didn't catch any leprechaun's but the leprechaun did leave some gold. Gold chocolate nuggets that is. Jesse made sure he left a "thank you" note for the leprechaun, in case it came back.
So on the morning of St. Patrick's Day after the boys found their "gold" they notice I left something out for them. These were so cute..I found them on pinterest....but you can go here http://eighteen25.blogspot.com/2011/02
As you can see the kids loved their Lucky Charms!
And we were all wearing green!! Even Presley, which I just accidentally deleted her picture :(
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

A Sunshine Adventure

We definately have spring fever so we took a quick day trip to St. George where is was very sunny and warm. Here are a few pictures of what we found on our adventure....

Elijah found a lizard.
JJ refers to this as "the crack"
If you look real close you can see JJ trying to fit all the way through "the crack" the boys did make it all the way.
This was a little crevice that you could climb up and the exit was up above Jesse in this picture.
Presley even gave climbing a try...

Presley and I loved being outside!
We hiked around the red rock.
Presley found a small cave...

and Jesse and Elijah found an even smaller cave!

and at the top of the biggest rock we took a picture.
Presley giving Papa loves at the end of our hike.
But the adventure wasn't over yet. Elijah had been learning about dinosaurs at preschool so we took him to the dinosaur tracks at Johnson Farm. We would recommend just saving your money and going to Vernal.

After the dinosaurs we stopped and had Cold Stone ice cream...what's a sunshine adventure without ice cream, right?

Presley's First Haircut

Presley's hair was getting a little outta control so I took her in for her first hair cut. These are the before pictures....notice the curls....

Here she is in the chair...looking a little unsure. She actually sat in my lap and did a great job.
Then it was Elijah's turn....
And Jesse's turn.....
Here is Presley...she did so well she earned her favorite treat....fruit snacks.
and here are the after photos. Not much difference..it was just a trim.
Notice the curls are still there :D
Now those are some nice looking hair cuts!!! Thanks to our hair stylist Lindsey Brito!! She is the best!!
